About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Align JV. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth handover of new assets to our end-users.

Your primary focus will be on managing the commissioning phase of the Align C1 Project, ensuring that all applicable equipment, systems, and machinery are properly commissioned and meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, ensuring that they align with project deliverables and stakeholder expectations;
  • Collaborate with the project team to review and update commissioning plans as necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with HS2 and Align JV commissioning procedures, as well as relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations;
  • Manage and deliver dry and wet commissioning, including performance testing, to ensure that all assets meet the required standards;
About You
  • You hold a degree in a relevant technical discipline and have demonstrable experience in major infrastructure projects;
  • You have a good understanding of UK health and safety regulations and are familiar with NEC3 contract documentation;
  • You possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • You are a Chartered Member of an appropriate professional body, such as MICE.
