Commissioning Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Align JV. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will be responsible for the commissioning of all applicable equipment, systems, and machinery prior to handover to end users, ensuring a safe, reliable, and satisfactory operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate commissioning durations and develop a comprehensive Commissioning Plan, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and stakeholder expectations;
- Review and update the plan as necessary, collaborating with the project team to reflect changes during the commissioning period;
- Ensure adherence to approval procedures and maintain open communication with stakeholders;
- Implement the commissioning plan in accordance with Align JV and HS2 procedures, standards, and specifications;
- Manage and deliver dry and wet commissioning, as well as performance testing, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications;
About You
- Hold a degree-level qualification in a relevant technical discipline;
- Possess Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., MICE) or equivalent;
- Demonstrate experience in major infrastructure projects;
- Understand the complexities of infrastructure construction projects;
- Have a solid working knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations;
- Familiarity with NEC3 Contract documentation;
- Experience in regulatory compliance processes commensurate with the role;
