About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in creating a safe working environment and coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities.
- Provide information to operatives and subcontractors, and complete diary sheets along with photographic evidence as required.
- Undertake material reconciliations, ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated, and carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
- Produce D & D site sketches and assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
About You:
- You will have the ability to work safely, read and interpret data and drawings, and be confident with standard setting out techniques and able to use Level and EDM with knowledge of GPS preferred.
- You will have a flexible attitude to work and problem-solving skills.
