Job Title: Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with physical disabilities.

Job Summary:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care, medication, and mealtime support, as well as escorting and assisting individuals in and around the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, including assistance with daily life tasks.
  • Administer medication and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Essential experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar role.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
  • Personal care experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
