School Welfare Assistant

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Lunchtime Welfare Assistant to support our school in the Carnforth area.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during lunch breaks.
- Supporting children with additional needs as required.
- Responding calmly and effectively to any minor first-aid incidents (training will be provided).
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children and ensuring their well-being. They must also have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided). An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
Estimated Salary: £12.15 - £13.15 per hourThis is a part-time position, working 16 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive school environment, where they can make a positive impact on children's school experiences.
