About the Role

This position is part of the Global Markets Division (MARK) of SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, within the engineering department in London. The team brings together the Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies, and Commodities structuring capabilities to provide investors with integrated multi-asset market solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Research and Development: Design and implement systematic strategies in an index format in cooperation with the relevant Business Lines, focusing on commodity underlyings.
  2. Maximization of Profitability: Maximize profitability (P&L MARK associated with products linked to systematic strategies) while ensuring robustness and sustainability of the risk return profile.
  3. Portfolio Management: Build portfolios of systematic strategies with a specific investment objective.
  4. Information Provision: Provide all necessary information to the governance team (ISP).
  5. QIS Offer Promotion: Proactively promote the QIS offer through internal communication, sales team push, and client meetings.
  6. Technical Support: Provide necessary technical support and training to sales, pricing, and trading teams.
Requirements
  1. Strong Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python.
  2. Quantitative Finance Expertise: Strong skills in quantitative finance.
  3. Commodities Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Commodities as an asset class.
  4. Operational Skills: Operational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
