Job Description

At Sanderson, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Product Manager to lead the development and management of data-driven products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs and business goals.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data products that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and communicate the vision and strategy for data products, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  2. Develop and maintain data governance policies and best practices, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  3. Monitor and analyze the performance of data products, using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define product features, and ensure successful delivery.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Product Owner in a data-driven environment.
  2. Strong understanding of data analytics, data management, and data governance.
  3. Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field preferred.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  2. Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.
  3. Familiarity with cloud / AWS platforms.
