Head of Strategic Procurement

Morgan Law is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Strategic Procurement to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a first-class procurement service across the organisation, driving value for money in terms of quality, price, and environmental impact through the supply chain to support Strategic Business Plan objectives and targets.
The role will also involve ensuring that the procurement strategy contributes to the wider corporate and community strategy objectives, aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments and aspirations, such as equality and diversity, environmental strategy, social value creation, and risk management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of public sector procurement, contract law, and UK procurement regulations, as well as experience in leading teams and developing strategy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact on our organisation's procurement function.
The role will be based in our Plymouth office, with circa 3 days a week in the office.
We are looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective procurement strategies, manage complex procurements, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
