Head of Strategic Procurement

At Morgan Law, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Strategic Procurement to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a first-class procurement service across the organisation, driving value for money in terms of quality, price, and environmental impact through the supply chain to support Strategic Business Plan objectives and targets.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker who can develop and implement a procurement strategy that contributes to the wider corporate and community strategy objectives, aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments and aspirations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of public sector procurement, contract law, and UK procurement regulations, as well as experience in leading teams and developing strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy that aligns with the organisation's objectives and targets
- Leading a team of procurement professionals to deliver a first-class procurement service
- Managing complex end-to-end procurements and developing strategic relationships with suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations and contract law
