Maintenance Tradesperson

Overview

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tradesperson to join their multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of the Estates department, you will provide comprehensive fitter/plumbing services to all wards and departments.

About the Role

This role requires a proactive and flexible individual who can work on own initiative. You will be responsible for providing emergency recall and undertaking on-call duties as part of the on-call team.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency recalls and undertake on-call duties as part of the on-call team to ensure that emergency repairs occurring out of normal hours are attended to.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Able to work on own initiative.">
• Post-qualification knowledge and experience in plumbing or mechanical services.">
• Knowledge of Health and Safety.">
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in plumbing, mechanical services.">
• Able to fulfill on-call requirements.">
