Job Title: Composite Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive standardization of processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  2. Investigate and resolve internal non-conformances, ensuring suspect stock is properly handled and corrective actions are taken.
  3. Conduct regular shop floor audits and sample inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  4. Collate and analyze data for weekly and monthly management review meetings.
  5. Develop and implement effective problem-solving strategies using tools like 8D, 5WHY, and FMEA.
  6. Monitor and improve quality metrics, including output, quality, and scrap rates.
  7. Maintain accurate records of products and approved suppliers.

Requirements:

  • HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • IATF16949 experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of APQP/PPAP is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated individual with a right-first-time approach.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
