We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive standardization of processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve internal non-conformances, ensuring suspect stock is properly handled and corrective actions are taken.
- Conduct regular shop floor audits and sample inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collate and analyze data for weekly and monthly management review meetings.
- Develop and implement effective problem-solving strategies using tools like 8D, 5WHY, and FMEA.
- Monitor and improve quality metrics, including output, quality, and scrap rates.
- Maintain accurate records of products and approved suppliers.
Requirements:
- HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- IATF16949 experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of APQP/PPAP is beneficial.
- Self-motivated individual with a right-first-time approach.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
