Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Prodrive is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Motorsport team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all supplied components meet our quality expectations and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prioritize and conduct supplier audits and quality system assessments to ensure compliance with our standards.
  2. Establish, maintain, and report on external quality records to ensure transparency and accountability.
  3. Liaise closely with our Engineering team to support project delivery and control in line with our Business Operating Procedures.
  4. Coordinate inspections and measurements of components as required, including dimensional inspections of sensitive and safety-critical components.
  5. Support Engineering in activities such as reverse engineering of components using key measurement equipment.
  6. Monitor and manage quality and delivery performance through monthly reviews and KPIs.
Requirements:
  1. A higher national certificate (HNC) or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
  2. Previous experience in SQA roles and activities within the automotive sector, preferably in Motorsport.
  3. Computer literacy with competency in the MS Office suite of programs.
  4. Demonstrable knowledge of inspection instruments and techniques.
  5. A competent understanding of engineering drawings.
