Logistics Coordinator

Reed Epsom Business Support is seeking a skilled Logistics Administrator to join our client's team. As a key member of the logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of products to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer orders received through our e-commerce system or manually raised orders
- Assemble products into secondary packaging according to customer requirements and company method manuals
- Generate dispatch documentation and dispatch products globally
- Track and fulfill orders ex-works
- Liaise with courier companies and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Negotiate contracts with courier companies for cost-effective delivery
- Perform general administrative tasks, including management of the logistics room and stock levels
- Coordinate with the Production team to ensure a smooth order fulfillment process
- Monitor and report on logistics metrics, such as customer satisfaction, order fulfillment, and courier costs
- Ensure products are selected in a timely manner to meet expected service levels
- Inspect all materials received to ensure they meet company specifications
- Monitor and communicate stock levels to ensure stock is available at all times
- Be responsible for the quality assurance of all products received from the production team
- Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates for each shipment
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
- Respond to any issues or complaints regarding the shipment of goods
- Document logistics procedures and operations
- Ensure all logistics operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Office based in Leatherhead office
- 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
