Logistics Administrator Role

Reed Epsom Business Support is seeking a skilled Logistics Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of products to customers worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders received via our e-commerce system or manually raised orders
  • Assembling products into secondary packaging according to customer requirements and company method manuals
  • Generating dispatch documentation
  • Dispatching products globally
  • Order tracking and fulfillment ex-works
  • Liaising with courier companies and customers to ensure on-time delivery of goods
  • Negotiating contracts with courier companies for cost-effective delivery

General Responsibilities:

  • General administrative tasks, including management of the logistics room and stock levels
  • Coordinating with the Production team to ensure a smooth order fulfillment process
  • Monitoring and reporting of logistics metrics, such as customer satisfaction, order fulfillment, and courier costs
  • Ensuring products are selected in a timely manner to meet expected service levels
  • Inspecting all materials received to ensure they meet company specifications
  • Monitoring and communicating stock levels to ensure stock is available at all times
  • Responsibility for the quality assurance of all products received from the production team and checking that they meet specifications
  • Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates for each shipment
  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries
  • Responding to any issues or complaints regarding the shipment of goods
  • Documenting logistics procedures and operations
  • Ensuring all logistics operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements

Salary and Working Conditions:

  • Salary negotiable
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • Office based in Leatherhead office
  • 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
