About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proactive Security Analyst to join our team at Moorepay Limited. As a key member of our Security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our services and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, damage, and loss.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing security measures to safeguard our information assets from security threats.
  • Conducting threat modelling and data flow mapping to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Providing expert advice to the business on security control deployment and general security requirements.
  • Performing internal security control assessments and evaluating the security posture of our suppliers and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborating with the team to respond to security incidents, including investigation, evidence gathering, and reporting.
  • Managing security-related issues, ensuring timely review, assignment, monitoring, and progression.
  • Producing and reporting security metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Designing and delivering security awareness training programs for our organization.
  • Supporting client-facing commercial engagements related to our information security posture.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operation and monitoring of our Information Security Systems and tooling.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Recognized qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging security practices and standards, including ISO27001:2013/2022, CSA, Cyber Essentials, and NIST principles.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and general network and infrastructure concepts.
  • Cyber-security expertise across multiple practices, including Threat Management, Security Operations, and Testing.
