Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Completions Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that all mortgage offer conditions are satisfied and funds are released on time. This will involve working closely with solicitors, underwriters, and brokers to collect outstanding documents, answer queries, and ensure all legal documents and conditions from the mortgage offer are satisfied in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of internal manuals, policies, procedures, and criteria, as well as regulatory guidelines. They will work closely with underwriters to ensure special conditions and legal enquiries are satisfied prior to completion.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring all mortgage conditions are fully satisfied
- Maintaining up-to-date awareness of the current market, financial, and regulatory requirements
- Meeting key performance indicators and service levels by working to agreed objectives and deliverables
- Assessing and responding to post and phone calls
- Taking reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of fellow employees and members of the public
- Ensuring compliance with relevant data protection requirements when dealing with personal data
