Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the BS36 area of South Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will work on a 1-to-1 basis with a KS2 pupil who has received an EHCP.

The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and as a member of the support staff, you will play a vital role in helping the pupil achieve their full potential.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the class teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to the pupil in a variety of settings
  • Supporting the pupil's social and emotional development
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the pupil receives comprehensive support
