We are seeking an experienced Adult Education Specialist to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our community learning department, you will play a vital role in providing educational support to adults in the local area.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans for various subjects, ensuring that records are kept up-to-date and work is assessed accordingly.
  • Liaising with our Community Learning Development Workers, you will participate in ongoing professional development activities, including training sessions and support meetings.
  • Your excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills will enable you to motivate and inspire learners to reach their full potential.
  • We require you to have relevant experience of tutoring, training, or teaching practice, including producing schemes of work and lesson plans suitable for adult learners.
