Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Static Multi Skilled Service Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Static Multi Skilled Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual service and PPMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all building systems in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Complete PPM and reactive tasks and update the electronic workflow system.
  • Ensure daily checks are completed and report any defects found via the FM helpdesk.
  • Identify materials required to be ordered and installed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Implement and record statutory inspections, including accurate recording within specified logbooks.
  • Review and sign off Specialist Service Provider worksheets, inspect the quality of work, and escalate recommendations to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping in plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas, etc.

Technical Skills:

  • Building Management Systems and Electrical Monitoring.
  • HVAC Systems, including Humidifiers.
  • Air Handling, Air Conditioning, and Chillers.
  • Sound knowledge of VAV and FCU Systems.
  • Domestic Water Services and Plumbing.
  • Pumps, Motors, and Variable Speed Drive.
  • Gas Boilers.
  • Hot Water Calorifiers.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar.
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2 / FGAS and HVAC experience.
  • L8 knowledge.
  • PPM experience.
  • Corrigo knowledge (a bonus).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear thinking, and able to deliver required services to the client within given time constraints.
