Role Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Reading

Role Purpose:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Integral UK Ltd, you will be responsible for the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual service and PPMs for various building systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient operation of these systems, identifying and addressing any defects or issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, in a competent and effective manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with building systems, and implement corrective actions to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with the site team to maintain a high level of housekeeping and organization in plant areas, workshops, stores, and other facilities.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of building systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and company regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders, and contribute to the development of the team's technical expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of building systems.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2 / FGAS and HVAC experience
  • L8 knowledge
  • PPM experience
  • Corrigo knowledge (a bonus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results and achieving the highest standards of operation.
