Job Title: International Development Auditor

We are seeking an experienced International Development Auditor to join our team at AfID. As an International Development Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of international grants and funding.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and a passion for international development. You will be responsible for conducting audits of international grants and funding, ensuring that they are being used effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of international grants and funding to ensure compliance with donor requirements
  • Review financial statements and reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on grant management and reporting
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement audit strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in international development funding and audit regulations

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent (Finalists considered)
  • Experience in audit and international development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
