Financial Operations Manager

About the Role

De Vere is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our iconic events venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting & forecasting.
  • Maintain financial records and implement financial controls.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance to produce the hotel annual budget and bi-weekly forecast.
  • Manage a team of three direct reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in a financial role involving purchase ledger, preferably within the hospitality/events industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll/productivity for the events industry, and of wet and dry stocks.
  • Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and develop junior members of the team.
  • AAT level 4 qualification or similar.
