Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing a high-quality responsive telephone service, dealing with high volumes of telephone calls, and making appointments for patients. The successful candidate will also assist in the organisation and servicing of clinics within radiology, advise patients as per agreed protocols, and prepare referrals for verification and/or discussion by consultant radiologists/sonographers.

Main Duties

  • Providing a high-quality responsive telephone service and dealing with high volumes of telephone calls.
  • Assisting in the organisation and servicing of clinics within radiology.
  • Advising patients as per agreed protocols.
  • Preparing referrals for verification and/or discussion by consultant radiologists/sonographers.
  • Dealing with DNA patients according to department protocols.
  • Liaising with medical staff about inpatient appointments and ward visits.
