About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Clinical Services Coordinator. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our radiology department, ensuring seamless operations and excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high-quality administrative services, including responding to telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.
- To assist in the organization and coordination of clinics within the radiology department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- To advise patients on agreed protocols and procedures, providing clear and concise information to ensure understanding.
- To prepare and send appointment and prep sheets after making appointments, maintaining accurate records and updating systems accordingly.
- To prepare referrals for verification and discussion by consultant radiologists/sonographers, ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
- To deal with DNA patients according to department protocols, taking proactive steps to minimize delays and optimize resources.
- To liaison with medical staff regarding inpatient appointments and ward visits, facilitating effective communication and cooperation.
