The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Patient Assessment

You will conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments and evaluations of patients' physical and mental well-being. This will involve identifying patients' needs, including therapeutic, emotional, and physical care requirements.

Care Planning and Delivery

You will develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments, ensuring the inclusion of evidence-based interventions. You will provide psychiatric nursing interventions such as medication management, emotional support, and therapeutic activities to promote recovery.

Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration

You will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to develop and deliver holistic care plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Experience working in a mental health setting
