The Role:
The Manager Designate will be a key player in driving business growth, maximising sales turnover, and profitability by achieving targets, minimising costs, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strong leader who can set standards within the store, lead by example, and hold colleagues accountable for performance and behaviours.
The Manager Designate will consistently deliver to company expectations on sales and service, operations, and product through the implementation of best practices and the development of the store team.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet and exceed store targets by reviewing and analysing performance, completing SMART action plans to address underperforming areas.
- Manage the sales floor as the daily priority, ensuring sales opportunities are grasped and maximised, and clients are approached in a non-business way by the most appropriate team member.
- Exceptionally manage stock, ensuring best practice stock controls are maintained, and stock loss is at or below the company average.
- Secure merchandise by complying with security systems and measures, ensuring all colleagues are fully trained on security procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards for store and colleague presentation, upholding the luxury brand image, and working with facilities to maintain store fabric and highlight any repair or renewal of assets.
- Effectively manage the rota system, ensuring staffing levels are maintained to offer the best service while staying within budgeted parameters.
- Maximise sales performance by utilising commercial reports, making informed decisions, and planning and arranging in-store events to drive sales.
- Identify new business development areas, including competitor analysis and action planning with SMART objectives, and launch Sales and Marketing campaigns as directed by the Support Centre.
- Create an exciting culture of delighting customers, manage external feedback sites, and increase client base and customer loyalty.
- Develop store succession plans through effective recruitment, regular 121s, coaching logs, and development of the team to achieve their goals.
