Highway Construction Site Operative

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Operative to join our dynamic Field Services Department. As a Pavement Site Operative, you will play a crucial role in assessing pavement conditions across the UK, predominantly on the National Highways motorway network in the Southeast, as well as local roads.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pavement coring and clearing operations for the purpose of sample collection.
- Utilise advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to identify potential issues beneath the surface.
- Operate a range of specialist vehicles and equipment, contributing to the successful completion of various pavement assessment projects.
- Analyse collected samples within our UKAS-accredited laboratory, helping to provide results back to clients to inform their decision making.
- Experience with vehicles and machinery.
- Construction or roadworks experience.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Full UK Driving License.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK as required by project demands.
- Willingness to work regular night shifts and adapt to varying work schedules.
