About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pavement Site Operative to join our dynamic Field Services Department at TRL Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing pavement conditions across the UK, primarily on the National Highways motorway network in the Southeast, as well as local roads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pavement coring and clearing operations for the purpose of sample collection.
  • Utilize advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to identify potential issues beneath the surface.
  • Operate a range of specialist vehicles and equipment, contributing to the successful completion of various pavement assessment projects.
  • Analyze collected samples within our UKAS-accredited laboratory, providing results back to clients to inform their decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Experience with vehicles and machinery.
  • Construction or roadworks experience.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK as required by project demands.
  • Willingness to work regular night shifts and adapt to varying work schedules.
