We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Planning and Project Manager to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our Capital Schemes team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects from design through to construction and highways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing highway schemes from feasibility through to detailed design in accordance with relevant UK standards.
  • Producing high-standard professional written technical reports.
  • Managing projects in accordance with the change framework.
  • Leading on the delivery of key objectives, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outputs and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND qualification in Civil Engineering, construction, or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold or working towards Project Manager qualification Prince 2 or APM PMQ.
  • Experience in efficiently using AutoCAD Civils 3D software to produce Highway plans.
  • Extensive experience of managing and delivering projects from concept design through to construction and highways.
  • Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants, and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
