About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at HMP Parc Prison. As a key member of our cafe team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Serve food and drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Clear away and wash up after meals
  • Stock and rotate stock to ensure availability of food and drinks
  • Operate the till and manage cash transactions
  • Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Polite, professional, and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
  • Ability to pass DBS checks and have a full clean UK driving license
