We are seeking a skilled and organised Patient Food Service Assistant to join our food service team at St Andrew's Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving and Delivering Food: Serve and deliver all food and beverage requirements to patients on the ward, load & deliver trolleys and associated cleaning duties.
  • Hygiene and Cleaning: Maintain the ward kitchen hygiene standards, ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times. Ensure good practice in relation to the stock rotation and the discarding of out of date food.
  • Stock Management: Management of ordering and receipt of ward stock supplies.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Monitor and record fridge temperatures daily in accordance with guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst delivering excellent customer care to our patients.
