Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take direction from our Chef and assist with food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen space, including daily cleaning and maintenance.
- Monitor and manage the storage and usage of stock, ensuring that we maintain a high standard of food quality and safety.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
- Complete daily records and logs, including temperature checks and stock rotation.
- Participate in regular deep cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain our kitchen facilities.
- Assist with the ordering and receipt of stock, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet our needs.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
