Support Worker for Children and Families

Barnardo's seeks a dedicated Support Worker to join their team in Warwickshire.
This role focuses on Bedworth and Rugby areas, supporting children, young people, and families in need. As a caseworker, you will provide independent, impartial information, advice, and support on matters relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the county.
A strong understanding of current legislation is required, including the Children and Families Act 2014, SEN Code of Practice, and Disability Discrimination Legislation.
You will provide accurate and up-to-date information, answering queries from parents, carers, and young people about SEND services and procedures.
A comprehensive training program will be provided to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills for this role.
The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
