Primary School Teaching Assistant

About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualised plans to support children's learning and development. You will also be responsible for providing pastoral support to children when required, including encouraging positive behaviour and providing feedback to parents and carers on children's progress and achievements.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering activities that meet the needs of children with diverse learning needs.
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons.
- Providing support to children with special educational needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
- Providing feedback to parents and carers on children's progress and achievements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
