Make a Difference in the Lives of Children
We are seeking a committed and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in various Primary Schools across Essex.
About the Role:This role will involve supporting children with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support children with special educational needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to children with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering activities that meet the needs of children with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the school team to develop and implement strategies to support children with special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any issues that may arise.
- Hold a minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Have previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
£25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
