Glen Callum Associates is a leading international recruiter specialising in the automotive aftermarket.

Sales Position

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Professional to join our client, a global manufacturer and supplier of parts to the commercial vehicle, industrial and military sectors.

We are seeking a candidate with knowledge of aftermarket distribution channels here in the UK, preferably within the commercial vehicle sector.

  • Support the distributor network in gaining new business from competitors.
  • Responsible for effectively structuring sales activities, including journey planning, new business strategy, account profiling & prioritisation.
  • Attend sales promotions, trade and exhibition events, in addition to product training and sales meetings.

Key Requirements

  1. A sound knowledge of vehicle parts, ideally within the commercial vehicle and heavy-duty sectors.
  2. Experience of dealing with commercial vehicle distributors / factors & repairers, whether truck, trailer, bus & coach or plant & agricultural is beneficial.
  3. Proven background operating within the UK aftermarket and an understanding of its distribution networks.
  4. The ability and experience to excel in a territory sales role.
  5. A valid UK driving license is essential for this role, as is the ability to travel with overnight stays.

  • Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
