The working hours for this position are 18 hours per week, with two shifts of 9 hours each, covering Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. A valid full UK manual driving license is desirable for this role. The salary for this position is £12.00 per hour plus benefits.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in caring for individuals with similar needs and possess skills such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving. A comprehensive training program will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

You will work closely with the individual, their family, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences. This role requires a calm, caring, and resilient nature, which enables you to thrive in challenging situations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the individuals you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
