Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure transparency and compliance.
  2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and forecasting to support informed financial planning and decision-making.
  3. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage all accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments to maintain a healthy cash flow.
  4. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely disbursement of salaries to our valued employees.
  5. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to minimize tax liabilities.
  6. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for external audits and implement recommendations to improve financial processes and internal controls.
  7. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to management to drive business growth.
  8. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for various projects and initiatives, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the technology or education sector.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  4. Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
