GTG Training Limited: Automotive Technical Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join our team at GTG Training Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices in automotive technical skills, ensuring they meet industry-recognized standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs in automotive technical skills, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Use effective training methods to engage trainees and promote learning.
  • Prepare and utilize training aids to support learning.
  • Assist the team leader and automotive manager in maintaining discipline and ensuring trainees comply with company policy.
  • Compile trainees' VQs, underpinning knowledge, and complete documentation.
  • Assess trainees according to standards set by awarding bodies and the Sector Skills Council.
  • Develop VQ training and assessment processes with the team leader.
  • Ensure trainees receive training using current methods and stay up-to-date with technological developments.
  • Provide welfare support and guidance to apprentices and employers.

Essential Skills:

  • Industry-recognized qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 Light Vehicle or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in electrical diagnosis and ability to use modern automotive technology.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment.
