Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Senior Dosimetrist plays a critical role in the treatment planning pathway at our local centre, overseeing patient dosimetry and treatment planning for patients on site and at other GenesisCare centres. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the delivery of patient dosimetry and treatment planning services to ensure all plans and tasks are completed on time.
  • Liaising with cluster GCUK sites and the wider network to coordinate treatment planning activities and optimize patient pathways.
  • Taking overall responsibility for the treatment planning service at their centre, working closely with the Lead Physicist and Centre Leader/Lead Radiographer.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Specialist knowledge of treatment planning and radiation dosimetry applied to radiotherapy treatment.
  • Specialist training in treatment planning techniques, such as BSc Radiotherapy or a suitable graduate qualification.
