About the Role

The Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in supporting curriculum development and administration at Simon Fraser University's School of Medicine. They will provide assistance to curriculum committees, faculty, and academic units by organizing committee meetings, preparing reports, and managing sensitive information. Their day-to-day would involve managing curriculum mapping software, coordinating the submission, review, and approval processes for new and revised curricula, and ensuring compliance with academic policies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex administrative processes in academic settings. They possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using curriculum management software and ensuring compliance with academic policies. Responsibilities

  • Manage curriculum mapping software and coordinate the submission, review, and approval processes for new and revised curricula.
  • Organize committee meetings, prepare reports, and manage sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training materials and processes to ensure efficient curriculum implementation and review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience in curriculum development or curriculum processing.
  • Strong administrative, logistical, and operational support skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail.
