About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at Bournemouth & Poole College.

As a key member of our support staff, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our curriculum areas, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for students and staff in the administration office;
  • Coordinating and organizing curriculum area events, appointments, and room bookings;
  • Providing administrative support to academic staff, including taking messages, liaising with staff and parents, and writing letters;
  • Building and maintaining links with curriculum teams, providing minute-taking services and attending training and events as necessary;
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of curriculum areas, including communicating timetable changes, reporting absence/lateness, ordering stationery, and data input.

You will also be expected to provide high levels of customer service and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths;
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer satisfaction within a work environment;
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal;
  • A commitment to learning and self-motivation;
  • Good organization, communication, and computer skills.

  • 27.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30.5 after 5 years' service;

Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum.
