Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking two Trained Education Mental Health Practitioners to join our Torbay team, working in collaboration with schools and healthcare sectors to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people.
As an Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide emotional and mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working closely with families and carers to develop and implement care plans.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working with professionals across health, social care, and education to provide early help in community settings and offer a range of individual, group, and family-focused interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking assessments, including risk assessments, and contributing to care planning
- Delivering evidence-based interventions in collaboration with children, young people, and families/carers
- Working with other professionals to meet the needs of children, young people, and families/carers
About Us
Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is an Alliance of six NHS organisations working together to improve health outcomes for children and young people in Devon.
