About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Liaison Psychiatry service at Torbay District General Hospital in Torquay, South Devon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the mental health care of people in the general hospital
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions
  • Develop and implement individual recovery plans for service users
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families
  • Participate in safeguarding adults and children

Requirements
  • A professional mental health qualification (e.g. RMN, CQSW/ASW, BSc/Diploma in OT)
  • A current registration with a professional body (e.g. NMC)
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism (desirable)
