We are looking for a dedicated British Council Policy Coordinator to work closely with the Policy and External Relations Team, supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive parliamentary and political engagement strategy ahead of an anticipated General Election and an upcoming Spending Review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged effectively and appropriately.
  • Developing and implementing a strategic forward planning tool to drive stakeholder engagement and coordinate associated communications activity across the organisation.
  • Supporting colleagues in the UK and overseas to engage with high-level political stakeholders effectively and appropriately.

The successful candidate will have first-hand experience of working in and/or with a political, policymaking, and/or government environment, educated to degree level or equivalent experience, and a strong ability to network and team-work across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to shaping a better world through international education, cultural relations, and arts. The estimated salary for this position is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
