Job Summary

Lead the future of renal nutrition care with expertise and innovation at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a skilled renal dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetic Team at Peterborough City Hospital (PCH) in a fixed-term position of 9-12 months.

Main Responsibilities

As a highly specialist dietitian, you will deliver complex renal dietetic interventions, including management of dialysis patients, and collaborate with the renal multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to inpatients and outpatients. You will also oversee and manage Band 6 staff, supporting ongoing professional development and supervision through Renal Nutrition Group Meetings and participation in UHL Satellite Group meetings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance our Renal Dietetic service, working with a dynamic and diverse team of 28 professionals across two hospital sites. You will have the chance to contribute to quality improvement plans and strategies, supporting a culture of continuous quality improvement within the area of enhanced clinical practice.

Person Specification

We are looking for a degree-qualified dietitian with a strong background in renal dietetics, HCPC registration, and a portfolio of continuing professional development. A supplementary prescriber qualification and experience in dietetic management of diabetes in renal medicine are desirable.
