Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Enhanced Reconnect Service. The successful candidate will work closely with probation and prison colleagues to support individuals with complex health needs in their transition from prison to community.
The role involves working in a psychology-led multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions and support individuals in accessing healthcare services. The postholder will also have opportunities for peer support, supervision, and teaching/training.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to individuals with complex health needs
- Work closely with probation and prison colleagues to support individuals in their transition from prison to community
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare services across the area
- Lead on the care of a small number of individuals, supporting their transition from prison to community

Person Specification- Post-graduate training in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees
- Trained in care co-ordination
- Evidence of continuing professional development
