About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have experience of working with mental health clients and be trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with individuals who have been released from prison and are at risk of harm. Your role will involve working closely with probation and prison colleagues to provide therapeutic interventions and support individuals to access healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex mental health needs

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
Person Specification
  • Postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience of working with mental health clients
  • Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
