Job Title: Cerebral Palsy Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cerebral Palsy Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to a young individual with complex needs, ensuring their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Personalised Care Routines: Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet the individual's unique needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • PEG Experience: Administer medication and monitor health conditions, ensuring the individual's safety and comfort.
  • Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Support with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Administering Medication and Monitoring Health Conditions: Safely administer medication and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Providing Emotional Support and Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, enhancing the individual's quality of life.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, reporting any changes in the individual's condition.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, is essential.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care are required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with the individual, healthcare professionals, and family members.
  • Compassionate and Patient Nature: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is essential to provide high-quality care.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring seamless care delivery.
