Job Title: Cerebral Palsy Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cerebral Palsy Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to a young individual with complex needs, ensuring their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Personalised Care Routines: Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet the individual's unique needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • PEG Experience: Administer medication and monitor health conditions, ensuring the individual's safety and comfort.
  • Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Support with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Administering Medication and Monitoring Health Conditions: Safely administer medication and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Providing Emotional Support and Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, enhancing the individual's quality of life.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Record care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition, ensuring comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, with a strong understanding of the individual's needs.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications in health and social care, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Compassionate and Patient Nature: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient nature, providing emotional support and companionship to the individual.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Work independently and as part of a team, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible to work the specified hours, including short days, evenings, and 12-hour waking nights.
